          Teen pregnancy is being caused by lack of info. About sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexual violence, inadequate access to services tailored to young people, and lack of education or dropping out of school.

          There are only minimum things that we can do to help children avoid teen pregnancy like being clear about your own sexual values and attitudes, supervise and monitor you children’s activities, discourage early, frequent and steady dating, and etc. Any of us should be aware to these things, let us be generous without knowledge and help others.

I am very happy that I have a little bit of friends in life because they’re being true to me. In this month of February, 2020 we are about to celebrate our "high school day" which means also about celebration of the Ilocos Sur National High School. I am very grateful because I, myself belong to the ISNHS, and it might be the 4th time that I will be witnessing these event but it will be a happy day for all of us.

       Within these event we will have a parade in each every section and by grade level, also we have a dance competition after the parade. The event will be exciting and that will be enjoyable.

I hope that our high school day will be much more amazing than before.

It is to show this deeply-rooted culture of the people of Ilocos Sur, 40 icons of the Catholic Saints were part of the procession, including those of the Virgin Mary as Apo Namacpacan de La Union, Apo Remedios de Pangasinan, and Apo Caridad or Our Lady of Charity, among others.  The icons of Jesus Christ on procession, too, were as Santo Nino, Señor Nazareno, Santo Cristo Milagroso of Sinait and Vigan, and Kristo nga Ari or Nasantoan a Puso ni Hesus.  

It has developed different activities to showcase the richness of Ilocos Sur culture and heritage. One of which became the most popular part of the festival community food ways. Here, the meaning of food beyond the physical fact is stressed. Food is an important tool in unravelling the culture of a community because it belongs to a system of attitudes, beliefs and practices. They argued, in more detail, that food is the product that belongs to food ways that incorporate culinary smells, ingredients, sights, landscapes, sounds, eating practices, and farming traditions of people or a region. Then, food, food ways, cuisine and gastronomy are all part of a broader “system of communication.” Food ways are a way of “cultural heritage by their passing of intergenerational knowledge, taste, political power struggles, connections to nature, stories of subsistence, local environment, human sensuality, poverty and wealth”

Change; It starts with me

"WORDPLAY"

When we say " I can change", It is a very hard task to do in our life. My title says 'WORDPLAY' because I will be paying a word that will become a reference and it connects to the topic "Change; It starts with me". Change is the only permanent thing to us and almost of us know that. We change ourselves when we are being judged or discriminated and when we decide some things whether it's important or not.

First to set is what we need to aim or to be in our life, we need to be true to ourselves, we will create a path that will complete our figure. We started our journey neat, we are on the first straight path which indicates that we are just starting, getting to know our surroundings. There are no dangerous things from this path yet.

Second is the climax part where we finished half of it but then something will block the path that we are taking, the figure that we are aiming is not yet achieved. The thing that is blocking our pathway is unbearable, but we will do all the possible things that will make a new path for our journey. Never forget to never quit because winners never quit.

Last is the best. We had reached our pathway to ourselves. We successfully changed, I compared our journey as very hard and we were a clay that was just shapeless but within our journey we had finished our figure as ourselves. Being us is not that easy and changing is also not That easy. The clay was used for role-playing our self, we've achieved our goal and changed successfully.
