Reflection

    Today is another day that is being added to our daily life every second, minutes, hours, days, etc., It is always gonna be a mysterious day.  But with my experience for this month was incredible because I had learned to have my own web page with the "Microsoft Front Page". The Microsoft front page can create a web page that the gathered data that you have can be a helpful tool that you will be able to share it within the globe. Many things that I had learned but without working hard I would have been just a guy that will only stare at the computer.

"Gifts and Wishes"

    In today's world we are inundated with images of Christmas from the media. We are told that it is all about buying expensive gifts for each other. In today's challenging economic times it is a tragedy that parents spend way more than they can afford to try to please their children. The sad truth is that, "money can't buy you love". A holiday is about the time spent together with loved ones. It is about gifts that come from the heart, and it is the about the thousands of years of tradition that mark the holiday season.

    Chirstmas is a very important holiday to us because it is like the main event or holiday of this year, and it is also being about with your family which is also the main source where christmas stared. Family is the greatest asset a person could ever have. Learn to share with them all the joys and blessings that we have. Celebrate Christmas with them!

    People start greeting each other from few days before the festival by saying Happy Christmas, Merry Christmas, Subh krisamas, krismas Mubarak, etc through Christmas cards or gift distribution. Decorating Christmas Trees in the houses or garden is the special custom and tradition of Christmas celebration. People also decorate their homes and Churches with candle and electric bulbs. Christian people in Southern India lit some small oil burning clay lamps on roofs to symbolize that Jesus is the light of whole world. They sing a special song known as carol song and perform other rituals in the church. At some places, there is a traditional to cut fruit Christmas cake to actually celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Santa comes in the mid night with lots of attractive gifts to distribute among kids.

        In this world full of blinds, “We” who seeks equality and peace are indeed one of a kind and those who wishes wars and rants for their own sake is such a foolish move. We need to think twice so that our way doing things will be reliable to all of us. We need to develop our perspective and to process it as participatory and empowering, equitable, sustainable, free from violence, respect of human rights, supportive and self-determination and actualization of human potentials.

        The republic act 9262 is also a way of peace but it is onto the violence against women and children because they are being dominated easily. Any kind of violence is considered as a violation that was done by a person will be accused by this republic act.

No one is born with evil within. We are born, filled with love towards everyone and everything around us. But instead of just following our hearts full of light, we keep feeding ourselves with darkness over and over again. When did we stop to judge people by their personality and started to consider the color of their skin? What urged us to acknowledge someone as an enemy just because of the place they were born in? Isn’t Earth the only place all of us were born in? Are the borders that someone has drawn on the map powerful enough to build in our souls the borders of prejudice, alienating us from each other? Yes, they are! As long as we let them be. As long as we teach our children to let them be powerful enough.

    Celebrating children’s month memorizes us about the importance of children in making the future of the country. This celebration makes a call to every citizen to protect their little ones from all harms by providing better childhood. Now-a-days, children are being victim of many social evils like drug, child abuse, alcohol, sex, hard labor, violence, etc. They are forced to earn little money for hard work in a very young age. They remain away from the healthy life, parents, love, education, and other childhood happiness. Children’s day celebration helps us to think again and again about the status of children in the country. Children are the valuable asset of the nation as well as the future and hope of tomorrow, so they should get proper care and love.

     Children’s Month is an occasion where we all should collectively take an oath for the safety of our children. The growing rate of crime in today’s scenario against children baffles parents and teachers to the core. We want that our children should be safe and to assure this aspect we need to educate them not only by imparting formal education, but it becomes our duty to make them aware about the social evils prevalent in our society. They should be taught to be alert every second in their life and should also be made aware about the difference between a good and a bad touch.

     It would be then that we could provide them with a safe environment both at home and school. Therefore, children are tender buds and it becomes our duty to assure them, a safe atmosphere which they rightfully deserve. Celebrating Children’s Month just as a convention is not enough rather we should collectively take certain measures to protect their childhood as they are our young minds who will support our country to grow in an optimistic manner with novel ideas.

     Our life depends on what we need, like the things we eat, the things we need to wear, the things we need to use when we go out and play, the things that we are using every day that depends on the environment we are living in. These circumstances tell us what we need. Nevertheless, the environment means a lot, the environment is something we are very familiar with. It's everything that makes up our surroundings and affects our ability to live on the earth like with the air we breathe, the water that covers most of the earth's surface, the plants and animals around us, and much more.

     But are we aware with the environment we are living in? ,we need to be aware of the environment we are living in because of some hazard or even man made hazard. Environmental awareness is to understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection. Promoting environmental awareness is an easy way to become an environmental steward and participate in creating a brighter future. Environmental awareness is an integral part of the movement’s success. By teaching our friends and family that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable we can begin fixing the problems that threaten it.

This month indicates the "Filipino Values Month", which is all about being unified or centralized. In this event it includes volunteerism, Helping one another, Loyalty, Loss of face and prestige, Debt of gratitude, Comradeship, Helpful, Philanthropic. These are some of the array of Filipino values for which the Filipino people are known worldwide. It is a lot like solidarity but in this event it tackles about our ourselves or the moral lesson we've got.

One value that has not been emphasized in our people’s education is “Isang dugo”, “one blood”, “one race”, referring to our common origin in the past. This is one beautiful and endearing value that we must teach our children to help preserve the unity of our nation. We observe the month of November as Filipino Values Month. Let us celebrate Filipino Values every day of the year. This will help us keep ourselves together as one people of one blood.

It is an order to raise awareness of them, not only to benefit the people who speak theses languages, but also for others to appreciate the important contribution they make to our world's cultural diversity.
